STILLWATER, Okla. — The Big 12 Conference announced the football schedule for the upcoming 2023 season on Tuesday afternoon after a long, anticipated wait. Oklahoma State received a relatively favorable draw and will face each of the four newcomers — BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF — in the first year of the new Big 12.The Cowboys will not play any of the traditional opponents from the Lone Star State, avoiding Baylor, TCU, Texas and Texas Tech. However, Oklahoma State has some lengthy road trips as a result.
