The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal collision from Wednesday evening involving a cyclist and an unknown vehicle that left the scene and has yet to be identified. Ashley Taylor, a 37-year-old Stillwater woman, was killed in a collision that occurred just before before 9 p.m. on US 177 south of Burris Road in Payne County. She was driving an electric bicycle. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene. She was transported to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's office. According to the Department of Public Safety report, Taylor was northbound on 177 when the bicycle was struck from behind.
